Twirling in Burgundy

Hello, everybody! Here's to the start of another great week, am I right?

This weekend we hosted a Graduation/Medical School/Birthday soiree for my sister. It was definitely an event given that we partied past 2 am and that there were over 100 people. I still can't believe that... Anyways, I'm really proud of everything she has accomplished thus far, who she is, and what she aspires to be in the future. Gosh, here I go being all sappy again...

This look features a new (and already a favorite) dress of mine paired with some nude heels, a classic purse, and some edgy accessories. I love giving the spotlight to articles of clothing with a lot of personality. This dress is absolutely DARLING. It is a maxi-dress that becomes sheer towards the bottom, which makes it both formal and fun. To top it off, it has the cutest details and back. Like I've mentioned before, I'm a huge fan of these ear cuffs. They are fancy enough for a night out and edgy enough for my style. I have them in both gold and silver! (And I plan on buying more...) I also added my pandora bracelet for a personal touch to the look. Lastly, this Favorite MM bag is classic and perfect for every event in life. You can never go wrong with a timeless bag like this!

Twirling around in this dress is so much fun!

Palm Picnic

Starting posts with "Happy Friday!" makes me super happy!

I recently turned 22 and to celebrate, we went on a little picnic! One of Aaron's presents to me was this cute bike. We rode our bikes to a quaint part and set up with cheese, baguette, and fruit. It had rained the night before so the temperature was perfect. I had a lot of fun!

I recently picked up this dress up in-store at H&M and it was SO affordable! I was really surprised because the quality way surpassed what I expect at its price point. I couldn't find it online so it may just be an in-store thing. I threw on a floppy hat and sunnies to keep the sun out of my face. My peep-toe booties were comfortable enough to ride a bike in! I completed the look with my favorite summer bag.

Feeling 22 (ooo hoo oo) ;)

Paint the Town Floral

Hello, everyone!

As the days get longer and warmer, I find myself not wanting to get dressed up when leaving the house. But what's a girl supposed to do when there are things to do and people to see! Most days I'm shadowing various physicians or interning at a research facility. When I do get a chance to do something different, this is my go-to outfit because it is girly and universally flattering. Floral prints make me feel pretty, dressed up, and wide awake.

This floral print skater skirt is perfect paired with a plain black top and some pretty accessories. I added a blush pink cross-body (that is like Hermione's bottomless bag), some floral wedges (that are both comfy and cute), and some statement sunglasses! It ended up being a perfect day out on the town, with a surprising rain storm in the evening. Luckily, these shoes were comfy enough to run in the rain!

Love this Mac lipstick in the shade "Craving"

Feminine Nautical

Hope you all had a perfect Independence Day weekend!

I love long weekends you can spend lounging with friends and family! This is my last week before starting medical school... It's been surreal so far but reality is finally kicking in! I'm super excited but extremely nervous at the same time. I'm spending this next week celebrating my birthday and doing last minute "first day of school" prep.

This look combines my signature feminine aspects with summery, nautical aspects! This eyelet, high-waisted skirt is so versatile and can go with literally any top. A top with sailboats` seemed perfect! Of course, I had to add my favorite color (bag) and my Jack Rogers! This outfit perfect for HOT New Mexican summer days because its light and airy!

Red, White & Blue (Vol. 2)

Happy Friday and Happy (almost) Fourth of July, everyone!

Today's post features The Class Act's second look for the Fourth of July. I love themes... So obviously, I was thrilled for this shoot. This color combination is absolutely darling, but it feels extra special around this time of the year. I paired this white and blue striped dress with a burgundy hat, my (new fav) white sunnies, a chambray top, and some red lips. I love bold lip colors (well, lip products in general) but I usually save these bright red lips for special occasions.

This look is extremely versatile so you can wear it to anything you have planned for the long weekend. Plus, a chambray button-up and red lips are essentials for every closet.

Hope ya'll have a fun and safe Fourth of July! :)

I blow kisses all day with bold lips...

As you can see, I have A LOT of fun shooting these looks.

Red, White & Blue (Vol. 1)

Hope you're having a wonderful hump day!

Red, white and blue is a color combination I like to wear year round! For this 4th of July, I'm going with a simple and casual look. I paired a striped navy skirt with a black crop top. I channeled my inner Taylor Swift and added red lips. I always feel so confident when I do! This blue wallet is my favorite because it fits my phone and can double as a clutch. Products I can use multiple ways are the best!

This look is perfect for a family barbecue and fireworks! There is a huge firework display in my city every Independence Day and we have the best view. We have a family tradition to watch them every year!

PS- The title say "Vol. 1" because you'll see Ari's version in Vol. 2 on Friday!
