Boho & Burgundy

Hello!

It's the middle of December and it's still so warm here! I'm loving these comfortable maxi dresses! They are the perfect transition look that you can complete with sandals and even a light cardigan if its a little chilly outside.

I completed this look with some bohemian accents. I love switching up the styles I wear to match the mood I'm in. I added this chunky statement necklace, gladiator sandals, and hat on this particular day. However, the best thing about maxi dresses is how versatile they are. You can wear them formally or casually, and style them in almost any season!

Strolling at the Lake

Happy almost Friday!!

I know It's been a hot minute since our last post but I can't even begin to describe how busy school has kept me. I think its an accomplishment that I'm still able to shower, get dressed, eat and sleep! Recently, my fiancé and I went to a resort and casino called The Inn of the Mountain Gods near Ruidoso, NM for our fall break. The place is nestled up near the mountains and right next to a lake. The views are absolutely gorgeous! It was so nice to (try) not worry about anything and just relax. We ate delicious food, strolled through the casino, and went night swimming. It was a much needed R & R! I wore a simple outfit to travel in and keep me warm but I couldn't resist taking a few pics with the beautiful scenery.

Love him!

Little, Navy Romper

Oh hey, there!

Today's post is about a cute, little romper perfect for going out. Nothing replaces an LBD for doing so but this one comes close! I paired this plain romper with some leopard pumps (because leopard is obviously a neutral ;)) and white clutch.

Paint the Town Pink

Hello!

It's been a while, but I was really excited to post about this charming dress. I purchased it from the Lily Pulitzer for Target, and I immediately fell in love. It's flattering, it can be dressed up or down, and well- it's highlighter pink!

I paired some neutral accessories with this dress so not to overwhelm the outfit. However, you can never go wrong with some color! As I've mentioned before, I'm completely in love with my LV Favorite MM and these comfortable nude heels. I wore this look for a day outing with some of my girlfriends around Uptown, so I guess I did indeed paint the town pink.

Not to mention, I had pink nail polish on too! :)

Holding on to Summer

Happy Wednesday!

Today's look is a pretty, feminine dress perfect for summer. The color is my favorite, there's a bow around the waist, and the floral print is adorable! I paired it with my (surprising great quality) F21 bag and sandals and Kendra Scott ring. I love this ring because it's such a statement piece! This is one of the dresses I recently got from DressLink. I love the style of the dress and got lots of compliments on it but the quality could be a tad bit better. The dress is very sheer but nothing a slip can't fix! ;) This entire outfit is under $40! Say whaaat?

While everyone else is gearing up for fall, I'm living in my airy dresses. It's still in the late 80's and 90's where I live so I can't fathom wearing sweaters and boots right now! I will admit, I may have gotten a few PSLs, though. I can't resist!

Business Casual

Hey, there!

Today's post features a sort of business casual look I tend to wear quite often to school. Most days we can wear anything we want and others we have to go all out formal. On the days I can wear anything, I still like to look put together. The reason for this is that you're seeing and meeting faculty, doctors, and other important people daily.

This look is my go to look for an easy way to do business casual. I love khakis but it is so hard to wear full length pants in the summer! These cropped (capri) khakis are perfect. I just put on a shirt or blouse that looks nicer and I'm good to go! Also, I'm LOVING my new flats. They're so comfortable and the color is unique! I could literally wear them every day.

What's In My Bag (Part 1)

Hello!

Today's post features what I keep in my bag during the school semester. I love these kinds of post because I get so many novel ideas about things to keep that may be come in handy or downsize what I already keep. My current bag is the Chloé "Marcie." I ADORE this bag because it's neutral (yet, it still provides a pop of color), roomy, and versatile bag. It fits all my essentials and more! Now, without further ado, here's what I keep in my bag:

1) Wallet: I like larger wallets because I tend to keep all my receipts and cards with me at all times in the case that I need them. This one is perfect because it has ample card slots and pockets!

2) Cosmetic bag: In here, I keep my favorite touch up powder, hand cream, lip products I'm using lately, and hand sanitizer. I also keep an essential oil blend that gives me energy throughout the day. I just mix it with my hand cream and rub it in!

3) Sunglasses: These subtle cat-eye ones are my favorite!

4) Earphones: In the case that I'm studying by myself, I like to have some earphones to keep out the noise and listen to some music.

5) iPhone

6) Portable battery: My phone has my entire life in it. My schedule varies daily and it is loaded onto my calendar. Needless to say, my phone is always in need of a charge. Having a portable charger is great when I can't get to a port.

7) Keys: obviously...

8) iPad Mini: This size is perfect for me because it fits in my white coat pocket while still being large enough to take notes on.

9) Pouch: I use the cutest little pouch to keep all of my gift cards, store credits, and punch cards in. Again, I like to have everything I may need with me.

10) Random things: Pens, stylus, badge, and pepper spray (lol!). Aaron got me my pepper spray at the beginning of college and thank goodness it hasn't needed to be used yet.
